A few good
questions.

Visit support
Does Until need an account?

No account is needed. Countdowns, notes, lists and preferences are stored on your device, and your saved countdowns work offline.

Can I repeat a birthday every year?

Yes. Choose a repeat schedule in the countdown editor. Until supports yearly birthdays and other repeating events, including custom schedules.

Why does the app ask for permissions?

Calendar, Contacts and Reminders access is optional and used when you choose to import events. Notification access is used for reminders you set. You can change permissions in your device settings.

How do I back up my countdowns?

Open Settings in Until and choose Export Countdowns. Save the exported file somewhere safe. Use Import Countdowns to restore it. Automatic cloud sync is not currently included.

Will reminders always arrive at the exact time?

Until schedules local notifications. Delivery depends on your device, notification permissions, Focus settings and operating system. Do not rely on Until for critical or safety related alerts.
